The music program at MVHS consists of an award-winning Symphony Orchestra, Marching Band and Color Guard, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and Drumline. These groups perform challenging compositions throughout the year from a wide range of composers and genres. They perform at festivals throughout Orange County and continually receive superior marks. The Marching Band, Color Guard, and Drumline are award-winning programs on a state and national level. Many students are involved in more than one musical group and are encouraged to explore their musical interests to the fullest extent.
